West Lebanon - Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Day, practically a life resident of the West Lebanon Community, who died early Sunday, Dec 29, in the Community Hospital, Indianapolis, were held Tuesday afternoon at the West Lebanon Christian Church, West Lebanon. The Rev. Fred Schreiber officiated and burial, with the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home in charge, was in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Mrs. Day had been a patient at the hospital two weeks. She had been in ill health several years. She was born in Indiana, the daughter of John F. and Harriett J. James Wood. She was married to Cecil C. Day, who preceded her in death April 14, 1959. She was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church and the Pleasant Grove Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Riley of Indianapolis; one brother, Russell Wood of Danville, Ill.; two sisters Mrs. Ethel Anderson of Williamsport and Mrs. Dorothy Hilkey of Detroit, Mich., and one grandson.

West Lebanon, Ind. - Mrs. Grace Day of West Lebanon died early Sunday (Dec 29, 1963) in the Community Hospital at Indianapolis where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been in ill health several years. Born in Indiana. she was a daughter of John F. and Harriett J. James Wood. She was married Dec 16, 1903, to Cecil Davy who preceded her in death Apr 14, 1959. Mrs. Day had resided most of her life in the West Lebanon community. She was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church and the Pleasant Grov Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Riley of Indianapolis; a brother, Russel Wood of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Anderson of Williamsport and Mrs. Dorothy Hilkey of Detroit, Mich., and a grandson. The body is at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home at West Lebanon where friends will be received after 3 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the West Lebanon Christian Church with the Rev. Fred Schreiber officiating. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services.
